Hitag S is very mature and sucess RFID technology from NXP (founded by Philips). The Hitag S 256 card have 256-bit total memory. with 32 bit serial number and 48 bit secret key. The Hitag S 2048 card have 2048-bit total memory. with 32 bit serial number and 48 bit secret key.

Hitag S proximity card is great solution for hotel key lock, access control, parking etc.
